Knilling violins are generally very good quality. They have several grades of violins, depending on the amount of handwork and quality of materials. The price of your particular piece may call for $6-700 retail(don't quote me, since I don't have a catalog or price list, and I do not know which model your violin is.), but a store may offer you about $400 for it (they do have to make a profit.) If you ask about the price without stating that you wish to sell it, they probably will give you a slightly better price than if you state you have intentions of selling it.
